bean bags in a theater
now why don't we have that in cali??
[the color of the half pipe/bean bags]
so i started studying today at 9, grabbed lunch at kubik (yes, again, and i got pretty much the same thing, and i'm excited for leftovers tomorrow) with maggie, and then i took my first final. they're more strict and anal here than back at ucla..they actually check your id and make you leave all your stuff in the front of the room. the final was harder than i thought. at least it's over. it gave my a pretty bad stomach ache though...
but that didn't stop me from grabbing a korean pancake with maggie (BOTH kubick and pancakes--what a day!). its this lil stand on wellesly and lorne street. we walked through albert park..and there were heaps of yellow leaves on the ground! twas very pretty
so anyway, as i was saying, it's this tiny lil pancake
and tada! sweet pancake! (they also have savory ones too)
it's really greasy..but it's not too bad. i like the crispy parts. and i was really surprised to find out that there was a filling inside! brown sugar with sesame seeds or something of that sort
we hung out, ate, she grabbed food i grabbed milk tea, and by the time we parted it was dusk. and the damn sky tower is still glowing white! when will they change colors?!
afterwards i met up with miyuki ben n toby and we FINALLY went to the bean bag theater (technically called the 'half pipe') to watch oceans 13. IT IS SOOO COOOL!!!!!!!!
don't mind the waterspots. so we did some major coupling there, since there were four of us ;p
by which i mean ben nested with toby
and i beaned with miyuki ;D
these were taken after the movie--we're all bed-heady and have funny faces (ok, maybe just me) ;) the bean bags were not so much beany as they were friggen comfy and squishy--it comfortably fit two. we hung around till everyone left to hop around. hop, hop, hop around
and yeah..good times. i'd love to go again.
seriously, can we have this in the states please??? thanks ;p
