what i learned about ground zero kids
and the definition of 'gumby'
[the color of the 'M' in mcdonalds..everywhere]
! so good to lounge around in bed! anyway, despite being done with finals i went to ground zero at uni to meet up with some friends ;D
it's supposed to be a studying ground, but it's more like a hangout spot. lots of laughter and stuff thrown around. or maybe it's just us. diana, faye, n nana
we were bebo-ing (their version of myspace) and they convinced me to sign up for one. so now i have 6 friends. woo hoo
(i don't know why i'm doing that either)
anyway, diana, ola & i went to this nice restaurant that i always pass when going down queen street near the viaduct. i've always wanted to eat there, and since diana is all handy with her stolen entertainment guide coupons, we were hooked up
our beef & reef..SO YUM
and salmon...double yummm
they also had a fish tank..with, lo and behold, fish. very flowy-tailed fish, to be exact
then we headed off to sputniks for a couple rounds of pool
good times..i actually got balls in and managed to win somehow. miraculous
haha and then there's karaoke. that's always fun ;D time always passes by so quickly though ;(
and the happy group picture ;D
tonight wasn't as cold (though still very cold) so we walked around like lil hooligans, wandering and filling the streets with our lingering songs.
down by the viaduct
then we made our way to micky d's because i remembered how i wanted to try the kiwi burger before i left. and of course i had to eat one at 1 am ;\
i gotta say it wasn't too shabby. i guess it's kiwi because it has an egg and beetroot (beets) in it. i was going to eat half and save the other half for tomorrow, but of course i ate it all ;p
